In a world where the population of mankind is growing steadily, and where people are becoming aware of the health benefits of seafood, it is increasingly difficult to land enough fish to meet the rising demands.
Due to demands for sustainable catches so as to avoid depletion of the oceans, the amount of fish caught on sea has stabilized around 6.5 million tons a year. So the only way to get more fish on to the market is through breeding fish. At the moment, bred fish equal the amount of free fish, but no doubt this will change in the future.

The mainstream
The main fish species we deal in are:
White fish: Cod, haddock, hake, Alaska Pollock, and Hoki. Other types are salmon and flat fish. From fish farms in China we sell tilapia, while the Pangasius come from fish farms in Vietnam.
